Boof was such a blast to work on. I had the time of my life on that book. It wasnt a very serious comic. It was a 'funny comic' Kind of vulgar in a way. The writer Beau Smith had some wacky ideas I tell ya.
Anyway, I was always a huge fan of McFarlane and he was my favorite comic artist at the time and still remains so to this day even though he doesnt draw much anymore like the good ole days.
Back in the day, I just finished a stint drawing Jack Kirby's Satans Six and then I got the unbelievable oppurtunity to audition for McFarlane for Boof. I drew some samples and then he called me up one night and hired me. I tell you, my heart just about stopped when I heard him say, Hey bud...This is Todd McFarlane! Damn what a memory that is! [img]smile.gif[/img] I was floored that he offered me the book. Todd is a real amazing guy and it was a true pleasure working for the man. I'm forever grateful for the oppurtunity he gave me.
I hope to send some of my current sculpture work to Todd soon and see what he thinks of it. That would be amazing to work for him again. I have alot more work other than Vic I want to show him. I am in the process of getting a website together so everyone can see my sculpture works.
